Humanistic and Integrative Therapy
'The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.'
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Humanistic and Integrative Therapy is a person-centred and holistic practice of psychotherapy and counselling that brings together more than one approach to meet the needs of each client.

Elements of arts psychotherapies, such as creative, movement and sensory activities may be combined with talking based therapy in an individually tailored approach.
Humanistic and integrative therapy is based upon the belief that each person has intrinsic value and potential, and the ability to understand, take responsibility and enact change in their lives.
Practitioners seek to establish a collaborative and responsive therapeutic relationship in which clients are supported to explore and express their emotions freely, gain insight into their experience and build resilience to meet the circumstances of their lives.
The emphasis on self-responsibility and self-actualisation allows therapists to introduce the most appropriate therapeutic techniques to support self discovery and the achievement of goals.
Humanistic and integrative therapy brings together the expertise and specialisms of the practitioner and the life experience and potential of each client to form a unique therapeutic process of change.
Practitioners in this approach are qualified as: Humanistic and integrative psychotherapists or counsellors.
