The Koru Team

The Koru Project is a dynamic team of arts therapists, educators and mentors.

We are able to match each of our clients to the skills and experience of our practitioners to provide uniquely tailored therapeutic support.

The team includes experienced arts, music and drama therapists, horticultural and eco therapists, forest school teachers, associate clinical psychologists, DDP practitioners, specialists in ASC and sports, arts and educational mentors.

We meet together regularly throughout the year for continued professional development and to nurture a sense of community where each person becomes a known and valued part of The Koru Project team.

From this foundation, we refer different combinations of therapists and mentors to ensure a complimentary balance of specialisms and expertise to meet the needs of each young person and to ensure safe, supportive practice.

All Koru practitioners have an enhanced DBS check, up to date training in safeguarding and take part in ongoing clinical supervision.

Our therapists are BACP or HCPC registered.
